Who We Are

The Blue Hills Civic Association (BHCA), founded in 1962, is a non-profit, community-based organization whose purpose is to build a strong, caring Blue Hills community, to enhance the quality of life of neighborhood residents and, in so doing, to improve the city of Hartford. The Blue Hills neighborhood, located in northwest Hartford, is comprised of approximately 4,000 households and a growing commercial area.

The Blue Hills Civic Association, through its programs, advocacy and activities, plays a key role in keeping the neighborhood stable and attractive as a great place to live and work.
