Programs & Services

The BHCA offers a variety of programs and services for all of our residents to take advantage of, young or old. We provide services for Housing, Employment and Youth Development.

Our Housing Program is to improve our neighborhoods through rejuvenation, housing education, workshops, encourages neighborly cooperation and reducing blight and decay in order to maintain and upgrade our housing stock.

Our Employment Programs are to offer comprehensive employment services to a diverse population of youth and adult residents. The program is designed to connect more residents to local employers specifically in the retail and hospitality industries. Additionally, the BHCA provides assistance to individuals to ensure their readiness for apprenticeships and jobs in the construction industry.

Our Youth Program offers development training and opportunities through Positive Choices, Summer Employment, Athletic Programs and Neighborhood Youth Organizing.
